Earlier, Behera was issued a show-cause notice and asked to submit her reply by November 1. According to a notification a notification issued by the Department of Women & Child Development, after a careful examination of her reply, it was observed that her reply was inadequate and does not justify the unsatisfactory performance of the Commission.
