Odissi Foundation celebrates Maha Bishuba Sankranti with senior citizens & orphans of Utkalmani Gopabandhu Adarsh Old Age Home
Bhubaneswar(15/04/2025): On the auspicious occasion of Maha Bishuba Sankranti and Odia New Year, Odissi Foundation founder Sonalisa Mohapatra, Geeta Women Foundation editor Nirupama Mohanty and president Bilasini Madam distributed essential items to neglected senior citizens and children at Utkal Gopabandhu Adarsh Old Age Home in Bhubaneswar.
Everyone was served with "Pana", a traditional drink prepared by mixing fruits, and given clothes dresses. Sunita Madam and Shramili Madam and Vichitrananda Khuntia were prominently present in this programme. The elderly who are able to move around were advised not to get up from their beds for defecation and urination at night.
Therefore, they were given bedpan, urinal, soap, toothpaste with Dettol, tongue cleaner, hair oil, comb and talcum powder.
The essential items were distributed to the elderly people for their healthy living.
Today's programme was attended by the guests Shrimayee Mishra, Nivedita Satpathy, Pradeep Pradhan, Dr Narayan Mahapatra, Trilochan Nayak, Bajraditya Tripathi, Barshi Priyadarshani Kar and Bhagyashree Madam.
