Poweful Storm Damages Several Residential Houses In Sibsagar Assam  More than 100 Betel  Nut Trees Were Uprooted Several Livestock Dead  Fifty Nine  Houses Were Damaged Incuding Them 6 Were Completely Destroyed

Mukul Phukon , Assam  , 13 March : On Wednesday midnight  a powerful storm causing damaged several residential house in Assam Sibsagar district  of Nitai-Pani Dehing area . Storm was so strong that residence were felt hours of terror . Tempest hit areas are Gohainpukhuri , Naojan , Baputigarh , Nitaipukhuri Gaon , Dehingia Gaon , Dowarichiga , Dehingmukh and Laibeel Miripathar Gaon. According to the information Gohainpukhuri is the worst effected area where 59 houses damages including them 6 were completely destroyed. Bhaben Handique , Hiteswar Handique , Keshab Handique , Budhin Handique and Pabitra Handique  residence of Gohainpukhuri  were totally damaged . Same village another person namely Purnananda  Gogoi , his farmhouse were completely destroyed. Hirumoni Handique , a residence of mentioned village , his poultry farm were partly damaged in that storm . Moreover more than hundreds of  betel nut trees were uprooted in the storm .  Ratan Lohar , a residence of Dehingmukh Lachan Gaon , his house were completly broken in the storm. Amburang Pait , a residence of Laibeel Miripathar village his houe were completely broken . Due to damaged their house poor people were felt helplessness. In this storm several livestock were also dead. Local administration has provided a tarpaulin each of the effected families.
