Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): Private bus services resumed in Odisha on Saturday.

The buses started plying from the Netaji Bus Terminal in Cuttack to various destinations in the state.

Private buses stayed off the roads due to the strike called by Odisha Drivers' Mahasangha on July 8.

The drivers have been demanding better working conditions, pension after 60 years of age.

The decision to operate buses was taken by the Private Bus Owners' Association after the state government agreed meet their demand for providing them security.
