Bird flu has been detected in the Delanga area in Puri district of Odisha. 

Bada Ankula village in Delanga block has been declared as the epicentre of the outbreak.
It has been over two weeks since the poultry deaths were observed.

The report came from Bhopal after analyzing blood samples. As a result, three locations in Delang have been declared containment zones. To control the spread of the disease, the district administration plans to cull around 6,500 chickens from the affected areas. 

A 10-kilometer radius around the affected zones will be under strict surveillance.
