PRIVATE BUS STRIKE CRIPPLES PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM IN ODISHA

Bhubaneswar(20/10/2023): The indefinite strike called by private bus owners crippled public transport system across Odisha on Friday. Nearly 14,000 private buses stayed off the roads as part of the indefinite strike being observed by the Private Bus Owners' Association in protest against the Location-Accessible Multimodal Intiative (LAccMI) of the state government. Owing to the strike, passengers and daily commuters experienced a harrowing time due to non availability of private buses.
