Prof. Sibabrata Das Nominated as Member of Visva-Bharati Court

Balasore, December 1: (Krushna Kumar Mohanty) Professor and Head of the Department of Geography at Ravenshaw University, Prof. Sibabrata Das, has been nominated as a member of the Visva-Bharati Court. The nomination has been made by the Visitor of Visva-Bharati, President of India Droupadi Murmu, for a term of three years.

Prof. Das is a distinguished academician with over 40 research papers published in reputed national and international journals. Four research scholars have been awarded doctoral degrees under his supervision.

Apart from his academic contributions, Prof. Das is actively associated with academic organisations and currently serves as the State President of the Higher Education Wing of the Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM).

His nomination is seen as a recognition of his significant contribution to higher education and research.
