PUCC validity extended in Odisha till March 31
Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty):
The Odisha government has extended the validity of the PUCC (Pollution Under Control Certificate) till March 31.
Transport Minister Bibhuti Jena informed about the extension of the deadline.
He clarified that the green sticker is not mandatory.
However, affixing the green sticker will make verification easier.
Those who have already obtained their PUCC can collect the sticker from the RTO.
Owing to irregularities, the licenses of 42 testing centres have been cancelled.
Earlier, January 31 had been fixed as the deadline.
From April 1, PUCC checks will be carried out strictly.
