Puri on high alert amid rising tension between India & Pakistan

Puri(By Abhishek Mohanty): Enhanced security measures have been implemented in Puri town amid the rising tension between India and Pakistan. 
A high alert has been sounded in Puri with deployment of IRB battalions, armed forces and more than 150 police force around the Srimandir and key areas. Police personnel are conducting thorough checks and patrols to ensure safety and security of people.

The security measures include physical frisking at Srimandir, checking of vehicles, hotels, and strategic points in Puri town to prevent any untoward incidents. 

The identity cards of guests staying at different hotels are also being verified by the police personnel. The hotel managers have been asked to strictly inspect the documents of their guests before alloting rooms for stay.
