Sarbat Distribution Camp: A Step Towards Better Public Health

Sundargarh, April 30:
In a thoughtful and compassionate initiative to promote public health and community well-being, a week-long Sarbat Distribution Camp was inaugurated today on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya by Shri Jogesh Kumar Singh, Hon’ble MLA of Sundargarh. The camp, hosted by Biju Janata Dal, Sundargarh, aims to provide relief from the scorching summer heat by distributing refreshing sarbat (a traditional sweet beverage) to the public across various parts of the constituency.
This health-focused outreach, aligned with the spirit of Akshaya Tritiya — a day symbolizing unending prosperity and goodwill — is a testament to Shri Singh’s continuous efforts to connect with people and serve the community beyond political commitments.
Residents welcomed the initiative with great enthusiasm, praising the thoughtful gesture as a timely and much-needed act during the rising temperatures. Volunteers and local party workers were seen actively participating in the camp, ensuring smooth and hygienic distribution.
The camp will continue throughout the week, reaching different localities to ensure maximum public benefit. The BJD team has reiterated its commitment to undertake such meaningful actions that combine tradition with public welfare.
