SECOND EDITION OF TEDXXIMUNIVERSITY ON FEBRUARY 29
Bhubaneswar(28/02/2024): XIM University, Bhubaneswar is organising the second edition of TEDxXIMUniversity, where x=independently organised TED event.
The event, scheduled for February 29, 2024, will witness various stakeholders, including students from the diverse schools in Xavier Fraternity. The theme for the event is Crossroads of Change.
The theme for this year is centred around change and the choices we make.
Talks will address challenges in mental health, finances, culture, empowerment, and entitlements.
The event will be stimulating and motivating for young professionals, encouraging them to think unconventionally.
The topics that will be covered under this years’ theme “Crossroads of Change” are Navigating Escapism, Relocation Reimagined, The EMI Epidemic and Empowerment, Not Entitlement. The event will host four esteemed speakers who will be discussing the above-mentioned topics.
The speakers include:Dr.Era Dutta-a Neuropsychiatrist and Life Wellness Coach who has been helping individuals achieve mental wellness through her unique philosophy of "Wellness in Balance." She has made a significant impact from Mumbai to Kolkata, combining medical expertise with a holistic approach.
Her work has been recognised and featured in various outlets, including Hindustan Times and Huffington Post.
Dr.Dutta is also known for leading India's first "Selfie Addiction" study, which was covered by Aaj Tak and Zee News.
She will be delivering a talk on “Navigating Escapism” at TEDxXIMUniversity. Another Speaker Tej Kankaria is a Manager in the Department of Supervision at the Reserve Bank of India, where he plays a crucial role in maintaining stability and resilience in India's banking sector.
As a leader in his department, he oversees important efforts to ensure that major banks follow sound practices.
He is an expert in identifying emerging risks and shortcomings across different domains such as lending, capital planning, governance, and regulatory compliance.
He will be delivering a talk on “The EMI Epidemic” at TEDxXIMUniversity. Speaker Dr.Sunita Chugh is the Founder of the Centre for Empowerment and Employability Education (CEEE).
She has spent three decades instigating positive transformations through her visionary leadership and adept change management.
Driven by passion, she translates her commitment into action through impactful talks, including a coveted TEDx experience, and her influential organization, CEEE.
She will be delivering a talk on “Empowerment, Not Entitlement” at TEDxXIMUniversity. Lt Gen Anil Malik will also attend as a Speaker.
Malik is a seasoned leader with over 44 years of experience across HR, education, healthcare, and defence.
His expertise in manpower planning, training, and organisational development was honed in the Indian Army and complemented by a successful transition to corporate leadership in business development and corporate affairs.
As a certified director, motivational speaker, and advocate for youth empowerment, he inspires others with his extensive experience.
He will be delivering a talk on “Relocation Reimagined” at TEDxXIMUniversity.
