Several parts of Odisha witness heavy rainfall; Jalaka river flows above danger mark

Bhubaneswar (26/09/2024): A low-pressure system formed over the Bay of Bengal has brought light to moderate rainfall to Odisha.

Since morning, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and several other places have experienced light to moderate rainfall.

Heavy rainfall is predicted in north Odisha for the next 24 hours.

Following incessant rainfall, the water level of Jalaka river has crossed the danger mark. A change in weather conditions may occur in the next 48 hours .
