State-Level Children’s Fest ‘Suravi’ inaugurated
Bhubaneswar(12/11/2024): The much-awaited Sishu Mahotsav 2024- 'Suravi' has been inaugurated.
Nityananda Gond, Minister, S&ME participated as chief guest in the opening ceremony and wished the success of the Suravi program by encouraging the students.
Sulochana Das, Mayor, Bhubaneswar joined the program as the guest of honour while Shalini Pandit, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Ananya Das, SPD, OSEPA, Sangram Keshari Mohapatra, Director, TE&SCERT were present.
Every student has some special talent.
Let them recognize the talent or potential within themselves.
Learn new things, ask questions and always try to embrace innovation.
In addition, the Minister advised the students to work hard towards fulfilling their dreams.
Inaugurating the three-day festival organized by the Department of School and Mass Education at Capital High School premises, Gond said, "Viksit Odisha, Viksit Bharat needs to be improved at the grassroots level".
He also said, if art survives, the country will survive.
The state government has emphasized this.
He said that the state government has made many plans for the preservation and propagation of folk art of Odisha and this festival is an important step in this direction. Sulochana Das, Mayor, Bhubaneswar addressed the students and said that a medium is needed to develop the talent of the students and a big medium like 'Suravi' will help in developing their talent.
On this occasion, Commissioner-cum-Secretary Shalini Pandit said, "Today's child is the best guide to the future.
In this direction, the state government and our department are making great efforts.
Survi is a beautiful attempt to reveal the qualities of children. Ananya Das, SPD, OSEPA gave welcome address while Sangram Keshari Mohapatra, Director, TE&SCERT gave vote of thanks.
