THREE KILLED IN SEPARATE ROAD MISHAPS DURING MORNING WALK

Angul/Balangir (08/10/2023): At least three persons, including two college students, lost their lives in two separate road mishaps in Angul and Balangir districts on Sunday. All the three were out for morning walk when the accidents took place. The two students identified as Sadhu Samad and Babuli Sunti died after being hit by an unknown vehicle on NH-49 at Pallahara in Angul district. Similarly, a youth was killed after being run over by a pickup van at Patnagarh in Balangir district.

The driver of the van fled with the vehicle immediately after the mishap. Irked over the incident, locals staged a road blockade demanding immediate arrest of the driver of the van.
