Tribute and Poetry Recitation in Memory of Poet Rajendra Kishore Panda by “Bhala Kabitara Khoj”

A memorial meeting and poetry recitation session were organized today at Kalyan Mandap, Rajabagicha, by the literary forum Bhala Kabitara Khoj to pay tribute to eminent poet Rajendra Kishore Panda.

The event began with a remembrance address by poet Krushna Kumar Mohanty, one of the forum’s conveners, followed by a two-minute silent prayer in memory of the late poet. Writer Gangadhar Biswal then recited one of Panda’s poems.

Presiding over the session, Mr. Mohanty reflected on the distinct poetic style and creative depth of Rajendra Kishore Panda, describing him as an exceptional craftsman of words. On behalf of the forum, poet Utpal Mohanty shared details about the event’s objective and background.

The poetry recitation featured performances by Prashant Das, Gangadhar Biswal, Abhaya Das, Shubhendu Das, Sitanshu Lenka, Ranjan Bag, Deepika Senapati, Shubhashree Dash, Debyani Das, Preetilekha Das, Kamalini Kast, Madhusudan Mishra, Himanshu Das, Utpal Mohanty, and Krushna Kumar Mohanty.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Utpal Mohanty.
