The workshop brought together 25 artists and creators to reimagine marine waste as market ready products.
From discarded fishing nets to ocean bound plastic, what was once waste has now been transformed into beautiful, eco-friendly prototypes.
These designs will be the foundation of a two-day hands-on training for the coastal community in Padmapeta, equipping them with the skills to turn marine waste into income-generating products.
The initiative not only addresses marine pollution but also creates green livelihood opportunities for vulnerable communities.
The products will be sold at Gopalpur sea beach, a popular tourist hub, offering both environmental impact and economic empowerment.
This is a model can be scaled across coastal regions where conservation meets commerce, and waste becomes worth.
