UNION MINISTER NIRMALA SITHARAMAN ADMINISTERS 'PANCH PRAN PLEDGE' IN PURI
Puri(17/08/2023): Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman administered the 'Panch Pran Pledge' during a programme at Central Sanskrit University in Puri on Thursday. The Union Minister said, "We plegde to make India developed and self-reliant by 2047.
We plegde to remove any trace of colonial mindset.
We pledge to celebrate our heritage.
We pledge to strengthen unity and respect those who protect our country.
We pledge to perform the duties of a citizen." The 'Panch Pran Pledge' of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sitharaman arrived in Odisha yesterday on a two-day visit to attend a series of programmes in Puri and Bhubaneswar.
