Woman dragged away by crocodile found dead
Kendrapara (13/08/2024): The mutilated body of the woman, who was dragged away by a crocodile in Brahmani River at Alapua village in Kendrapara district yesterday, was found on Tuesday. The body was recovered from the river near Penthapala in the district today. The deceased has been identified as Manjulata Bhanja.
She was dragged into the river by a crocodile while washing utensils near the river.
Keeping in view the growing crocodile menace in the district, the administration has been creating awareness through street plays and miking.
