YOUNG GIRLS SHOULD BE AWARE & EDUCATED ABOUT MENSTRUAL HYGIENE MANAGEMENT

Bhubaneswar (28/05/2024): The young girls should be aware and educated about menstrual hygiene management and curb the social taboos.

This was discussed at Nilachakra Nagar under ward no-16 of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation on the occasion of Menstrual Hygiene Management Day -2024 organised by ActionAid Association in collaboration with Center for Child & Women Development (CCWD).The objective of the programme was to sensitize the women & young girls living in urban poverty the benefit of uses of sanitary pads and disposal system, said Saraswati Parida, YUW coordinator.

Among others Snigdha Das, Renubala Sahoo, Sabita Rout, Sasmita Bantha and Sushree Subhecha Sukla shared their thoughts.
