FIVE PLACES RECORD TEMPERATURE ABOVE 37.7°C

Bhubaneswar (28/05/2024): Heatwave returned to Odisha after a short gap as five places recorded temperature above 37.7°C. Three places in the state witnessed 40°C & above temperature on Tuesday. While Jharsuguda recorded 40.6C, Hirakud registered 40.2°C. Similarly, temperatures recorded in other places are Sambalpur: 40°C, Rourkela: 39.6°C, Bhubaneswar: 37.7°C and Keonjhar: 36°C. Hot and humid weather conditions are likely to prevail in the state till May 31.
