80 kg gold, 1 quintal silver worth over Rs 30 crore seized from near Bhubaneswar airport
Bhubaneswar (26/08/2024): The sleuths of the CT & GST on Monday seized huge quantities of gold and silver from near the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar airport on Monday. Around 80 kilograms of gold and more than one quintal of silver were seized.
The gold and silver were being transported in two container vehicles. The cost of the gold and silver is said to be around Rs 30 crore.
The source and ownership of the gold and silver were not ascertained yet.
