For Maniesh, this festival holds special significance as his wife, Sanyukta, is of Bengali descent.
Despite being far away from home, Maniesh was determined not to miss out on the festivities. While the actor was shooting for his upcoming film in Glasgow, he received a surprise invitation to attend the local Durga Puja celebration.
Without hesitation, he accepted the invitation, and what unfolded left him truly captivated. His caption said, "Durga Puja is very special to me because Sanyukta, my wife, is a Bengali.
We never miss visiting the pandals; but this year, I am in Glasgow shooting for my next film, far away from my home, my family and I was missing the Puja... To my surprise & delight, I received an invitation to attend a Durga Puja celebration in Glasgow which I immediately accepted! The experience left me truly captivated as I witnessed how Indians have beautifully preserved and shared their culture and tradition in various parts of the world, filling me with immense pride.
