Bada Mahasnana of Trinity performed at Puri Srimandir
Puri(Abhishek Mohanty): The Bada Maha Snana (grand holy bath) ritual was performed for Lord Jagannath and his siblings at the Puri Srimandir on Monday.
The ritual was performed after a devotee vomited, which is considered inauspicious.
The incident occurred while the devotee was having darshan near the Bhitara Katha (inner sanctum).
Owing to the secret rituals performed, general darshan was temporarily halted at the temple.
