CHARIOTS CARRYING LORD JAGANNATH, HOLY SIBLINGS REACH PURI GUNDICHA TEMPLE

Puri(08/07/2024): The three majestic chariots carrying Lord Jagannath and his holy siblings during the 9-day long Rath Jatra reached Sharadhabali near the Gundicha temple in Puri on Monday afternoon. While Lord Jagannath atop Taladhwaja chariot reached the temple at around 1 pm, Devi Subhadra and Lord Jagannath arrived at Sharadhabali one after another by 2:35 pm. The pulling of chariots resumed this morning as a part of the two-day Rath Jatra.

On Sunday, the chariot pulling had to be halted for a day after sunset .
