Commissionerate Police asks Pakistani woman residing in Bhubaneswar to leave India
Bhubaneswar: By Abhishek Mohanty- A Pakistani woman residing in Bhubaneswar has been issued a notice by the Commissionerate Police to leave India immediately.
The woman has been staying in Bhubaneswar since 2008 on a long-term visa.
Her visa expired in 2024, and she hasn't renewed it.or
A directive has already been issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India to issue notices to 12 Pakistani nationals residing in Odisha on long term visas.
The Indian nationals residing in Pakistan have also been asked to return home at the earliest, as tensions between the two countries escalated over Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 people on April 22.
