Cyclonic storm Dana intensifies into severe cyclonic storm
Bhubaneswar (24/10/2024): The cyclonic storm Dana has intensified into a severe cyclonic storm.
The severe cyclonic storm is likely to make landfall near Bhitarkanika and Dhamra of Odisha on October 24-25. Three ports- Dhamra, Paradip and Puri-in the state have issued great danger signal number 10 . Meanwhile, the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, Kendrapara, Bhadrak and Balasore have started receiving rainfall since early morning. In Bhadrak district, 30 pregnant women were shifted to Chandbali hospital.
