Deputy CM Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo's visit attend South Asia Labor Mobility Conference in Bhutan

Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo visited Bhutan to attend the South Asia Labor Mobility Conference organized by the World Bank.
The South Asia Labor Mobility Conference is being organized by the World Bank will held for two days on May 20 and 21 in Thimphu, Bhutan. In this, Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo will represent India.
Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment and Energy Singhdeo is currently holding the post of Chairman of the Task Force on Distressed Migration. In this context, Singhdeo will represent India in the international conference organized by the World Bank and discuss various issues. Participation in the above mentioned conference will be very helpful in finding a permanent solution, policy formation to the problem of migrant workers.
Principal Secretary, Labour and Employees State Insurance Chitra Arumugam is also present with Deputy Chief Minister Singhdeo. About 100 people including representatives from Bhutan, Middle East countries, North Africa, Italy, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Jamaica, Bangladesh, representatives of the World Bank and government officials will participate in the conference.
