Foreign woman apologizes for Lord Jagannath tattoo

Bhubaneswar (03/03/2025): A foreign woman, who got a tattoo of Lord Jagannath on her thigh, has apologized for her actions.

She said, "I worship Lord Jagannath every day and have great respect for him.

I mistakenly got the tattoo on my thigh and I apologize for it." The woman's apology comes after her tattoo sparked outrage in Odisha, with many considering it a cultural sacrilege.
