International Workers' Day observed
Bhubaneswar (03/05/2025): On the occasion of observance of International Labour Day, the ActionAid Association in collaboration with Center for Child and Women Development (CCWD) Bhubaneswar organized a multi stakeholders’ consultation focusing the theme- safety and health of workers.
Digitalization and the future of work organised at Redcross Bhawan in Bhubaneswar. The objective of the consultation was to create a safety zone for workers living in urban & rural poverty as well as get the basic facilities said Sadasiv Swain, Secretary of CCWD.
Attending as guest Associate Director of ActionAid Association Debabrat Patra & Senior Programme Lead Suvenu Kumar Ray, Journalist Surendra Patra and Anasangathita Sramik Manch (ASM) leader Phulamani Patra, Abhaya Pati and Prakash Samal shared the social security benefit of unorganized workers.
