Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar gets Badminton High Performance Centre
Bhubaneswar(12/12/2024): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Thursday inaugurated the Badminton High Performance Centre at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, "Many players like Saina Nehwal are bringing laurels to the country.
I urge them to bring more laurels to the country in the future." Stating that the state government has taken several big steps for the development of sports, the CM said, "A large sports complex will be built in Jatni.
The sports complex will be built on 120 acres of land.
A budget of Rs 1,000 crore has been allocated for this purpose." He hoped that Odisha will be recognized in the global stage of badmiton.
