Major fire breaks out at Unit-2 Underground Market in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar (01/11/2024): A major fire broke out at the Unit-2 Underground Market Complex in Bhubaneswar late on Thursday night. Valuables worth lakhs of rupees got damaged in the mishap. Fire and Emergency Services personnel rushed to the spot immediately after receiving information and battled for hours to douse the flames.
Four fire tenders were engaged in the firefighting operation. The cause of the fire is suspected to be firecrackers. According to information, the fire erupted at a saree store and soon spread to more than 20 garments shops.
