Non-vegetarian food banned in Koraput on Republic Day

Koraput(By Abhishek Mohanty): Consumption of non-vegetarian food has been banned in Koraput district on Republic Day.

The district administration has issued instructions to stop the sale of non-vegetarian items on January 26.

Letters in this regard have been sent to all Block Development Officers (BDOs), Tahsildars, and Executive Officers.

Koraput District Collector Manoj Satyaban Mahajan has directed that fish, meat, and eggs should not be sold on that day. 

Action will be taken against the violators, the Collector warned.
