Odisha received allocation of Rs 10,599 crore for railway development in Union Budget

Bhubaneswar(03/02/2025): Odisha has received a significant allocation of Rs 10,599 crore for railway development in the Union Budget for 2025-26.

This funding will support various railway projects across the state, including new track constructions, electrification, and station upgrades. According to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Odisha has seen significant progress in railway development over the past decade, with 2,046 km of new tracks laid in the last 10 years.
