Odisha's land is a symbol of India's prosperity: PM Modi

New Delhi (09/01/2025): Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention at the Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.

The Prime Minister also flagged off the Pravasi Bharatiya Express train. Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister said that Odisha's land is a symbol of India's prosperity.

The state's rich heritage and architecture make everyone proud.

Odisha's Baliyatra is a symbol of world trade tradition, and the Dhauli hills represent peace. The convention, which began yesterday, will conclude tomorrow.

It has attracted overseas Indian communities from over 70 countries.
