Oh God Kaaliaa

Sanjay Bhatt

In the echoes of the temple walls,
I hear your sacred call,
Oh God Kaaliaa, the eternal one,
In your divine dance, all has begun.

Grant me, in my next life, the gift divine,
Make me a painter, where colors align,
To draw your essence, pure and true,
The ten avatars, each a shade of you.

In Jagannath’s embrace, I’ll place my visual art,
A canvas of devotion, straight from the heart,
Each stroke a prayer, each hue a hymn,
In your SHREE temple, the light shall never dim.

From Matsya to Kalki, your forms unfold,
Stories of love, bravery, and wisdom untold,
With each incarnation, you bless the earth,
Oh, make me a painter in my rebirth.

To capture your grace in every line,
In Jagannath’s sanctum, eternal and divine,
Oh Gad Kaaliaa, hear my plea,
In the next life, a painter let me be.
