Rourkela Airport expansion announced by CM Majhi 

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday announced that Rourkela Airport and Steel Plant will be expanded in the near future.

The announcement was made during his visit to Rourkela in Sundargarh district. 

The Chief Minister said a task force has been constituted to oversee the expansion process. He added that the state government is in constant coordination with the Central Government on the matter.

The CM further stated that steps are being taken to upgrade Rourkela Airport to Category-C, which is expected to improve air connectivity and support regional development.
