Salary of Odisha Special Striking Force personnel hiked
Bhubaneswar(17/04/2025): Odisha government on Thursday hiked the salary of the Odisha Special Striking Force (OSSF) personnel.
This was announced by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The monthly salary of Sepoy (GD) has been increased from Rs 30,000 to Rs 45,000.
Besides, the salary of Lance Naik/Naik/Havildar (GD) has been increased from Rs 32,000 to Rs 50,000, Junior Commissioned Officer (GD) from Rs 40,000 to Rs 55,000, Junior Commissioned Officer (Instructor) from Rs 40,000 to Rs 55,000. The government has also announced the creation of a dedicated Traffic and Road Safety Wing (T&RSW), which will function directly under the supervision of the Director General of Police (DGP). The T&RSW will have its headquarters in Bhubaneswar and is aimed to play a significant role in enhancing traffic management and road safety across Odisha.
The state government has also notified the establishment of 20 new cyber police stations .
