SEPARATE BANDHS AFFECT NORMAL LIFE IN JHARSUGUDA & NUAPADA

Jharsuguda(12/02/2024): Two separate bandhs affected normal life in Jharsuguda and Nuapada districts of Odisha on Monday. The District Students' Union has called a 12-hour bandh in Jharsuguda district to demand establishment of Agricultural College in the district, technical college status to the technical school and for setting up a Kendriya Mahavidyalaya.

Shops and markets remained closed at most places due to the strike. Similarly, the Labourers' Federation have called for bandh in Nuapada district seeking fulfillment of various demands including steps to end corruption. Owing to the strike, shops and business establishments remained closed.
