TWO KILLED, 14 INJURED AS PICKUP OVERTURNS

Konark (14/06/2024): At least two persons died and 15 others sustained injuries after the pickup van carrying them overturned on Kakatpur-Nayahaat road near Jagannathpur in Puri district on Friday. Eight critically injured were shifted to Bhubaneswar for better treatment. The deceased have been identified as Jogendra Swain and Sarat Sahoo. The betel leaves-laden pickup van carrying 16 betel farmers was heading towards the betel market at Nayahaat when the driver lost control and the vehicle turned turtle.
