INTERNATIONAL RADIO FAIR BEGINS IN BHUBANESWAR

Bhubaneswar(13/02/2024): In a bid to create awareness among people about the importance of radio and promote its use, the 10th International Radio Fair 2024 organised by Outreach and supported by Government of Odisha kicked off at Bhanja Kala Mandap in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday. Convenor International Radio Fair Subrat Pati said that the objective behind organising the fair on the occasion of World Radio Day is to revive the interest of people in radio. On the inaugural day of the two-day fair, competitions on news reading and debate for college students were held.

The winners of the competitions were awarded. Dance by Pragyan Nrutyayan and Nupur dance groups mesmerized the audience. Old radios and radio related items are on display at the event at stalls set up at the venue. Radios on sale and free radio repair are the main highlights.
