TWO LABOURERS DIE AFTER BOULDER FALLS IN GAJAPATI

Mohana (27/08/2023): Two labourers died after they were crushed under a huge boulder during stone blasting at Bandhaguda quarry under Mohana police limits in Gajapati district. The deceased have been identified as Narayan Nahak and Bishnu Nahak from Jharedi village in Ganjam district. The labourers were standing near the quarry during blasting when a huge stone rolled down and crushed them to death.After getting information about the mishap, a team of firefighters reached the spot and launched a rescue operation to retrieve the bodies which are still trapped at the site.
