XIM UNIVERSITY'S SCHOOL OF HUMAN SETTLEMENTS' ANNUAL URBAN CONCLAVE VYUHAM 2023 COMMENCES
Bhubaneswar(01/09/2023): VYUHAM 2023, the annual urban conclave of the School of Human Settlements, XIM University (New Campus at Harirajpur) commenced on Friday. The theme chosen for the conclave is 'The Sustainable City Revolution: Empowering Leaders to Drive Change'. The first session provided insights into urban financing and management, featuring discussions on property valuation advisory, and real estate management.
The second session explored the evolving terrain of urban planning and management, focusing on the scope, challenges and future of urban consulting.
This session prominently addressed the urban infrastructure sector and government policies. Dean of the School of Human Settlements Dr.Kajri Misra welcomed the guests and spoke about the innovative and unique programmes of the School. The inaugural address was presented by Registrar Fr.S.Antony Raj, S.J. Associate Professor Vice President at Capri Global Yadhu Krishnan Ramakrishnan graced the event as speaker and spoke about real estate financing. Speaking about the financial aspects in real estate sector, he said, "Real estate is considered as an alternative investment option, not just in India but also globally.
It is a very capital intensive sector." Senior Director at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Robin S.also shared his valuable insights on the theme.
