ADIVASIS STAGE DHARNA AT JANTAR MANTAR DEMANDING INCLUSION OF HO LANGUAGE IN 8TH SCHEDULE OF INDIAN CONSTITUTION

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar (21/08/2023): The Adivasi Ho Samaj Yuva Mahasabha in collaboration with All India Ho Language Action Committee organised a dharna at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Monday demanding inclusion of Ho language in the 8th Schedule of Indian Constitution. More than 2000 Ho language speaking tribes from Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Assam and Chhattisgarh clothed in traditional attire participated in the dharna. The states of Odisha and Jharkhand have recommended for inclusion of Ho language in the 8th schedule of Indian Constitution in the past.

But nothing has been done in this regard, a member of Adivasi Ho Samaj Yuva Mahasabha informed.
