Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): The Odisha Association has postponed its mass leave decision after Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi assured strict action against those involved in assauult of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Additional Commissioner Ratnakar Sahoo.
The Association had announced its decision to go on a mass leave protesting the assault of the BMC official.
Three accused have already been arrested in connection with the case.
On Monday, Ratnakar Sahoo was allegedly dragged from his office during a public hearing and brutally attacked by a group of people.
Meanwhile, the sanitation workers of BMC launched a cease work agitation, disrupting road sweeping and cleaning works in different wards.
They demanded justice for the BMC official.
