BJEMS-II hosts 18th Annual Day celebration ‘Pulsatio 2024’ in grand manner

Bhubaneswar(24/12/2024): Buxi Jagabandhu English Medium School-II (BJEMS-II), Satyabhamapur, celebrated its 18th Annual Day, ‘Pulsatio 2024,’ on the 22nd and 23rd of December with grandeur and enthusiasm.
The two-day celebration highlighted the academic achievements, cultural vibrancy, and creative talents of its students, making it a memorable event. The festivities began on 22nd December with an inaugural ceremony graced by Professor Dr.Gopal Krishna Dash, Former Professor and Head of the P.G.Department of Sanskrit, Utkal University, as the Chief Guest.
On 23rd December, the celebration culminated with Aparajita Sarangi, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha, Bhubaneswar), as the Chief Guest.
Joining her were Raghunath Mishra, Chairman of B.J.Education Society; Pratap Kumar Jena, Manager; Anup Kumar Pattnayak, Additional Manager; Principal Alka Das Mohanty; Vice-Principal Dr.Manoranjan Bej, and other dignitaries. The program commenced with a warm welcome by the Manager Pratap Kumar Jena.
Principal Alka Das Mohanty presented the Annual School Report, detailing the school’s achievements, milestones, and new initiatives. The Chief Guests and dignitaries inspired the audience with their addresses, motivating students to excel in all areas of life. Later students were bestowed with accolades.
Saswat Samal (Std X) and Sushree Sangeeta Rout (Std XII) were awarded Best Students of the Year.
Other notable awards included the Bibhuti Bhusan Pattanayak Memorial Award for Star Performer of the Year, which went to Kushal Gochhait, the Sailabala Jogendra Memorial Award for Innovation was awarded to Anshuman Nayak (Std VIII), the B.J.GEM Award for institutional excellence was presented to Barsani Choudhary (Std IX) while the Pushpashree Palai Memorial Award was conferred upon Rudransh Tripathy and Subhra Soubhagini Swain. Adding to the celebrations were cultural performances by the students, ranging from lively dances to soul-stirring musical acts.
The performances, choreographed by a talented team of faculty members, enthralled the audience and showcased the students’ creativity and dedication. As ‘Pulsatio 2024’ concluded, the event left a lasting impression on all attendees, reflecting the collective efforts of the students, staff, and management.
