Building a dream Odisha is the goal: Chief Secretary Anu Garg after assuming charge

Reacting after taking charge as the Chief Secretary of Odisha, senior IAS officer Anu Garg said the new role carries great responsibility as well as opportunity. She stressed that ensuring the overall progress of Odisha will remain the government’s core objective.

Garg stated that the Vision 2036 document will be implemented in a focused and effective manner. Referring to India’s long-term national goals, she said sustained efforts will be made to keep the state aligned with the country’s journey towards 2047.

Calling for teamwork, Anu Garg said that building a “Dream Odisha” requires collective effort from all stakeholders. 

She acknowledged that several challenges lie ahead but expressed confidence in addressing them through coordinated action.

The Chief Secretary added that priority will be given to improving the ease of doing business, while special emphasis will be placed on youth empowerment, tourism, and other key development sectors.
