FATHER-SON DUO NABBED FOR POACHING
Boudh (09/08/2023): A man and his son were arrested by forest department officials for poaching in Boudh district on Wednesday. The father-duo son was nabbed during a raid near Padmatola beat under Kusanga range in the district. Two guns, one axe, poisonous balls and pangolin scales were seized from the accused. Meanwhile, the Mayurbhanj police arrested 21 poachers and seized 165 guns, gunpowder, raw materials and deer antlers from their possession.
The seizure was made following search operations carried out at multiple locations in 14 police jurisdictions.
