FORMER WOMAN SARPANCH, HUSBAND KILLED IN KEONJHAR

Keonjhar (14/09/2023): A former woman sarpanch and her husband were killed by unidentified miscreants at Mayurnacha village under Hatadihi block in Keonjhar district. Niranjan Patra worked as a gram rakhi at a local police outpost and was staying with his wife Rambha Patra, the former sarpanch of K Baliapal panchayat.

It is suspected that unidentified miscreants entered into their house last night and murdered them. Noticing bloodstains near the house, local started searching for the couple.

Later, the bodies were found dumped in the backyard of the house.
