Fourth installment of Subhadra scheme credited to beneficiaries’ accounts 

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): The fourth installment under the Subhadra scheme was credited to the bank accounts of beneficiaries on Sunday.

The amount was released by Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi from the Talabania meeting venue in Puri.

More than 1 crore 2 lakh women across Odisha have received the money in their bank accounts.

Around 2 lakh 13 thousand new beneficiaries have also received financial assistance under the Subhadra scheme.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the Subhadra Yojana is not merely a five-year programme but a visionary initiative aimed at empowering women. He added that lakhs of women will become self-reliant through the scheme.
The CM further stated that mothers and women are the driving force behind Odisha’s development journey.
