Fynex Academy clinches Title in inaugural Women’s Kalinga Premier League

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): Fynex Academy emerged victorious in the first-ever Women’s Kalinga Premier League, held at Gopabandhu Club. The final saw Fynex Academy face off against Iron Rose.

Batting first, Fynex Academy posted a formidable 156 runs in 8 overs, while Iron Rose could manage only 93 in response.

A total of six women’s teams participated in the league, with each match played in an 8-over format. The tournament was inaugurated by actress Bhumika Das.

In the final, Shivani was named Player of the Tournament, while Rosalin received special recognition for her performance throughout the series. 

The awards ceremony saw the presence of corporate representative Monalisa Sahu, social worker Monez Sahu, and club president Deb Prasad Jena, who felicitated the winners.
